Computer Specs+affordable price+enjoyable RTW

I am finally going to try to get me a new computer at around 1500$ what specs do you recomend in order to engage in good old slashing and maneuvering with a decent frame rate and visuals: CPU, RAM, Graphics and all that?

I have an old pc and it works pretty damn good at 1024x768 with just about everything on except FSAA. I'll be updating in the summertime but until then, my P4 1.6 (oc'd to 2.1ghz) w/512MB and 64MB card runs ok. So basically anything better than (shouldn't be hard at all for $1500). Aim for 256MB nvidia pci-e card, 1GB RAM, P4 3.xGHz or better. The key is vidcard and memory.

Some people (like me and sevven) seem to have no trouble running the game well with low spec systems while people with much better computers struggle. I guess you just get a good system and cross your fingers.

The most beneficial thing I have for graphics is 1600x1200 lcd running in dvi so that might be something to look into. I'll let the techie guys chime in for good computer specs.

I use a Nvidia Geforce 3 128mb card that I bought second hand on ebay for about $30. It works well for RTW and I recommend you buy a computer with in built graphics and then buy a card cheaply on ebay. You're not lumped with whatever your given in the package then plus you can save money.
