Me and a few friends are going to England/scotland for backpacking next year, how is the countryside in Wales? Is it much different then in England or Scotland? Could you tell me something more about Wales?

Are they different you say! Are and sugar different i ask you? Welsh countryside, the sugar i might add, is immense!

The S.A.S uses my country for weeding out weaklings, the terrain is so challenging in places, in others its simply beautiful!

Google Brecon Beacons, The Black Mountains and Pen-Y-Lan, Snowdonia, Pembrokeshire, Gower the list is endless! Where im living now, Cardiff, the capital, isnt to far from the Beacons, i take the kids there now and again camping and stuff!

Then for heritage we have hundreds of aged, quaint villages like Hay on Wye, the historic book town, the remains of a Roman fort and others.

The people, i hate to say it, but it does seem like the more North you go the more stupider the people get, and the less english they speak. That said, all over Wales they friendly, especially if your not English!
