Default Lokking for a (good) AM3 Motherboard that supports DDR2 667

Anyone know of a good socket AM3 mobo (form factor ATX) that supports my legacy memory?

Yes, I'd rather spend $120 on a new mobo rather than some $30 on new RAM.

    Thanks in advance.

That'll take an AM2+ and not an AM3 motherboard. That said, an AM3 cpu will still work. Beyond the capabilities and features of AM2+ itself tho, I am not familiar at all with its motherboards. Will have to wait for someone else for that.

Big Boss is right, it takes an AM2+ motherboard, not an AM3 motherboard.

That is probably your best bet. But I don't understand why you simply can't buy a decent motherboard + the RAM.

    The MSI 790XT-G45 is decent.
