    Default Trouble Installing

I've just downloaded 3.0, the 3.3 update, and the HotFix, but the problem is that it won't let me open what I've downloaded. My computer, which is Vista, lists them as Files and when I try to search for a program to open them on the Internet, it says unknown.

I thought that it was just a regular installer or a jZip file that I downloaded, so I am kind of lost on what to do.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Normally, the SV files are all EXE files, same with Vista

Rus-Bey was correct here, the downloads should all be executables. If they are not opening when you doubkle click them, they are probably corrupt.

Are they all having the same problem?

Also I downloaded them from Filefront. Don't know if that will help, but thought I would add it in case y'all were having trouble with downloads from that site or other people were having that problem.

    An update on my problem.

I downloaded Sicilian Vespers 3.0 from Megaupload and it downloaded as an .exe file. I tried to download the 3.3 patch and the HotFix (both from Filefront), but they were still listed as unknown files.

All the files or just the patch 3.3 and the hotfix?

I would guess your download are stopping befoe the entire file has come down.

I only have the 3.3 patch on filefront, but you can try this:

    http://games.on.net/file/32081/Sicil...pers_3.3_Patch

    http://games.on.net/file/32080/Sicil...3.3_-_Hotfix_2

If they work for you, I will add them to the download page.

Ok, thanks. It might take me a while to download them because I might not be able to be near my computer for a few days.

I have just downloaded the 3.3 patch, which downloaded as an .exe file. I checked both of the links (Megaupload and the other) and both worked.

I still have to download the hotfix. Don't have time at the moment, but will let y'all know if it downloads properly as well.

I have successfully installed the game and have played it. An excellent mod I might add.
