Okay, I've got a question: one of the graphical annoyances of both NTW and ETW for me is the way many darker uniforms can look like they have lighter "zebra" stripes on them when viewed up close. Because the stripe patterns are identical, it can really look quite distracting:
Is there any combination of graphic settings anyone's aware of that can reduce or alter this effect? What causes it? I'm on an ATI card on running at high settings with no significant framerate issues (screenshot above taken on model 3-high shaders, AAx2, Trilinear filtering, Ultra settings for most everything else (incl unit details and textures), with volumetric, SSAO, hardware shadows and distortion checked, and HDR and DOF off).
Anyone else annoyed by this? The effect of dark shadows on a light uniform is less noticeable, but on redcoats in particular it can often look quite odd.
