I'd suggest (just suggest) to move this to the submod section may be ?
Than you could say this is your submod now, show your progress and people can comment, suggest etc... until you are done ? (If you show progress, I assume you'll allow it to be played by all others once you're done ?!?)
If you'd like to keep it here to get more attention etc... for it I am also fine with that. Or I could also move it into the resources and art section - whatever you want...

great work
my only suggestion is more towers on the 2nd and 3rd walls, and post all the pics you can
great job again when you ar done show KK and maybe he will include it
nice work man. you will be a big help for the TATW mod.
IT's EPICLY awesome.
Just a bit tooooooo big. A bit.
I mean, it's really, really expansive. I don't think there is a need for that. I'd prefer fortress to be much smaller. somewhat liek Hornburg.
Just wait until you can pLay it and you will see how funny its to have battle inside huge citadel, looking so far above all your units fighting like ants. It really immerse you in a new concept of total war. seriously.
Right, Also I did some adjusts in some models because in some of them I just stretched the faces to make a object taller but it mess with the textures because they so would look like stretched. But as I sayd, texturing is the easy part of th whole thing.
Just for the record. I never played TATW. About 2 months ago I was wondering about playing again some TW game after so many years... then I just figured about a LOTR mod, then I googled about it and what I found?Third Age Total War!
So I saw the first pictures posted by KK on MDB and started the speculations. But I tought not to play until the new patch carises with the cities. Then KK posted the Topic with the previews... I did some math and guessed He would took MONTHS to finish it.
So I tought, Oh, I dont want to wait that much! Then about a week ago I started learning Milkshape3d, after it I started learning IWTE tool and now...
Maybe if people get pleased with my final results I would like to help in the new patch to take a sooner release.
And that is my story.
Cheers!![]()
Ok, no problem.I want to keep the topic here since I have already no intentions in doing a submod for now. its just a custom settlement, what will happen after I dont know.
I don't think so at all.Just a bit tooooooo big. A bit.
I agree, two more would be awesomemy only suggestion is more towers on the 2nd and 3rd walls, and post all the pics you can![]()

That looks fantastic!! Great job. + rep. But the buildings look a bit weird. I don't know why I think they do but they seem like they're strectched or something. Anyways everything else looks wonderful.
Buildings without textures are like from star wars...
People really should not worry about the size, there is still LOTS of settlements in middle earth to be made and we can do everything.
As I can see the majority is please with my settlement configuration so I think keeping this is ok.
And you guys should all be Thankful for Wilddog and Makaneye who created the Tool. Its an awesome tool, it can edit everything and I got no bugs until now. (Except the ones originated by my own silliness).
you should try dock map, (cant renmber the name where frodo sails off) or even riven dale. or if your just getting the swing off things (looks like you know your way around by that nice peice of art) the shire xD
personaly id some misty mountain settlements or Orcs of gunbad
