question about unpacking

I know this is here somewhere, but could someone show me a DETAILED walkthrough on unpacking files to change culture and things related. I'm grateful for any help offered.

First get this program if you don't already have it.

1) Unzip the pak extractor, it should create a folder called xpak

2) Open your data folder from your RTW/or Mod folder, locate the packs folder

3) Open xpak folder, grab xpak.bat & xpak.exe and drop or place them in the packs folder located in your data folder

4) Open your packs folder and double click on the xpak.bat icon, you may have to push one more key to activate?

5) After it's done it creates a new data folder within your packs folder this contains all your unpacked files but if you want to make changes you have to move the appropriate files out into your main data folder and nullify your your still packed files. Otherwise the comp will always look in the packs folder first.

If you're adding completely new units or buildings this isn't necessary.
