On a historical note...
In the time of the Darkage campaign, would the Vikingr and Northmenn settling Normandy have already formed a faction organized enough to resemble a nation or was it not until the next century
when Charles the Simple gave Normandy to Rollo under the agreement of vassalisation?
And if it was an organized-enough nation, would there ever be a possiblity of it joining the ranks
of the faction list?

Re: On a historical note...
My thinking on this, was that they shouldn't be a faction until Rollo becomes Duke. There is no Norman faction in the mod, so it is up to the Vikingr to take and settle Normandy in their raids.

Re: On a historical note...
Well that brings up another question of mine.....
There's a lot that happens in the 200 year time gap
from the 888 campaign to the 1080 campaign...
Is it possible in the future that you're going to
split the dark age campaign and make another campaign
starting in 10th century?

Re: On a historical note...
Eventually, when things settle down, I plan to make campaigns like this. They should be very easy to make, as it would only require minor modifications toi the starting positions.
One of the campaigns I had in mind was around 843 AD'ish, when Lothar ruled the Frankish Middle Kingdom (Lorraine, Burgundy, and Italy). I think it would an interesting campaign.
