Why do Europeans keep thinking they're Important?

Honestly, Why do eurpeans (beside GB) think ther important? I mean we already proved that we dont care what france or Germany thinks when we invaded Iraq, so why do they keep trying?
What have they done on the past lets say 30 years that has realy gained any notworthiness. I mean if they want to feed starving kids in africa why dont they do it? It doesn't take the US does it? If they wanted to stop the US from invading Iraq why didn't they try a little harder?
Way I see it, Europe is all talk no action, and even the talk is not good for anything.

Because I think france has the GDP of the state of Georgia. Everything has to be done through us. Even China, our greatest remaining rival...backs almost half of its money...in American dollars.

We actually do a fair amount of trading with Europe, either it be Import or Export. What does Europe offer America? More money during trade. I'm sure you wouldnt mind if we lost large sums of the national GDP. :wink:

Why? Because we're an Internation presence and we pretty much police the god damned world. We got the strongest military in the world. ANd seemingly any humanitarian campaign is either spearheaded or backed by the US. Reason is we are one to the only countries that can provide that kind of logistical support.

Technically, fiddling with anything that could potentially disrupt/improve stability in the region with the most amount of oil is kind of important. According to his definition of important (and I imagine most definitions) affecting action in the world, weather for the better or worse, is important.

Sadly enough, the man kinda has a point. As much as I respect my forefather's original homeland, the European nation's time had passed. The United States has a larger military, economy, and industrial strength than the European nations, though not the brightest of masses.

China is on the rise, and looks to be the next world power, if they are not one already.
