The music. Why did they get rid of the vanilla music? I understand adding more but getting rid of it? Vanilla had some awesome tracks in it.

Did they get rid of it? It seems to all be there on my version. Plus a bunch of other tracks added by me.

Unless you mean the campaign music, which I had honestly gotten sick of anyway from listening so many times.

Depends on his version, which he conveniently didn't mention. In any case how to add, move, remove and modify the music has been discussed here before.
This thread might be helpful. Or Reverting back to original music or Just the original music? or How to customise Game Music? - search is your friend. As is stating your mod version

I really miss the music from Rome:Total war. Tracks like Divinitus made everything seem so serious, stakes were high, I felt important. But I hardly ever keep the music on anyway, as I always have something else on a second monitor to entertain me in the background, especially when there are long waiting times in battles or between turns. I look at everything from Battlefield Britain and TED.com to UN security counsel debate and Julian Assange interview. Makes me feel less guilty about wasting time playing games.
