    Default descr_strat Question

    When i open descr_strat, and i want to change some ownership of some cities, i notice these cities are not in descr_strat, but they are present in campaign and descr_regions... Does somebody knows more about this? thanks!

    That's not really possible, every settlement must be defined in descr_strat, I believe.

    Sure you're checking the right file?

    A settlement that isn't defined in descr_strat starts as a village with the lowest population under the control of the slave faction.

    I solve this on my way;
    1. backup descr_strat
    2. choose everything; city that has to change faction, faction that get's the city, etc
    3. pick a random city of the chosen faction, copy it and paste it underneath the original city
    4. now change the city name of the copied city to the name of the city that you want to add to the chosen faction

    It's really important to backup because it can always go wrong. If u didn't backup but it went wrong, just download a modded descr_strat file that someone put online.
