    * Reworked faction economics and diplomatic settings.
(relations between CSA, USA, Britain and France.)

    * changed names of important leaders
I have looked at preview videos & your intro video from the link in this thread.

It all looks very atmospheric & immersive but for the flags.
They look to me almost to be made of metal sheet.
Unlike the banners in NTW which are obviously of linen
It is a shame because the actual banners look magnificent.

Are they more realisitic in the mod, or are the videos as the mod is?

Regardless it looks to be a fine effort.

Can the mod be used alongside other Empire mods?

    Best regards,

    Balla.

Which flags do you mean? Our battle flags?
These are static, cause we made them bigger and 2 flags in each regiment.

Yes, it was the battleflags I was referring to.
    Can these not be animated?

I think it would add a lot to immersion.

You have to test it, some can be used with our mod, some not.

Well, the vanilla battle flags are just an ugly horse blanket.
We have now double sized and historical battle flags (two of them) in one regiment.
Thats way better, then an animated, ugly flag.

Its not possible to make them animated, so they will be static till there are tools, to get them animated.

New feature added to the preview:

One of the biggest changes after the campaign himself.
The new recruitment system bring more strategic gameplay.
Militia can be built in every governors building like before, but building better units needs now to have additional buildings.
Let´s take a look at them.

    - The Supply Stores -

The supply stores have 4 levels:
    Small Supply Store
    Medium Supply Store
    Great Supply Store
    General Quartermaster Supply Store

This buildings gives you small effects overall and the are also enable building of basic artillery.
You can build them only in small towns and you have to defend them.

    - The Armory -

There are four levels of armory:
    Small Armory
    Medium Armory
    State Armory
    National Armory

You need this buildings to build your best artillery and they give profit too.
Also like the supply store the are built in small towns and it is important to save them.

    - The Command Centers -

This group also have four levels:
    Brigade Headquarter
    Division Headquarters
    Corp Headquarters
    High Command

Command Centers are needed to recruit more then militia units in minor cities and also
for research. You need to protect them well.

    - Recruitment List -

    Spoiler for Cavalry Recruitment

    Spoiler for Artillery Recruitment

    Spoiler for Infantry Recruitment

    Newest Addition:

Part of DarthVader`s DarthMod AI will be implemented into 2.5
We will adjust them a bit and add it to our own settings for a better AI behavior.

This change should improve one more the game experience of the Blue and the Grey.

There was no Corp structure in the first year of the war. Besides that, there won't be huge starting armies like you mentioned. Besides that, we just have 6 historical generals.
Maybe this could be added in 3.0.
