This is all looking really slick and professional.
Well done guys, and Merry Xmas to everyone.

the team of khartum mod have developing new animations of deads run soldiers, deads static soldiers, fights and walk excellents and very realistics, these animations not present in napoleon vanilla.
you can ask to the team of khartum as to do these animation or implement to the blue and gray mod,is very likely that they give their permission to use.
This is a thread for the 2.5 Preview and Animations aren't on the list, move this discussion please to the Suggestion thread.
The population of the Northern States was about 22 million while the South had a only about nine million persons. That doesn't say it all, because there were almost 3.5 million slaves included in the South's population count which were a liability. The slave population required guarding and supervision. They were unavailable as troops, because if they were ever given access to arms a slave revolt was certain.
Can they fix the number of population and habitants of each state for numbers historical for the version 2.5?i think that this is very easy of edit.

Thanks for continues feedback, but please there is no need to write each suggestion in 2 or more ways in the same time. If you post it in one thread we will read it too and it is easier to answer.
To your question, we have also this sheet with detailed population from the cities: http://www.census.gov/population/www...0027/tab09.txt
Things like this are at the moment not in the highest priority. We must just work on major things and test them before we implement smaller details who not affect the gameplay. But we have it in mind.
HAVE UNITS IN THIS VERSION FIRE BY RANK
Sounds nice so far.
For me personally the most important things which I would like to see fixed/improved in the campaign are:
- elite units & special units should be avaialable much later in game (some units only in some states, some after a certain tech is researched, etc.)
- no missing General's names
- no forced agent's/general's deaths after 12 turns
- no citizens armed with pikes
- new agent/generals portraits (I still hope this can somehow be done for version 3.0 even if it needs a lot of work. But I hate to have 18th century guys wearing whigs in my civil war era campaign)
Hi guys.It would be nice if u guys manage to have a larger variety of different skins/models in troops.Or even better if all troops have different skins and looks different.Playing with the Confederate there was some units with the same uniform and stuff. And u can make special skins for the generals like Robert E Lee and more..
- New Stuff -
* We added new flags for a few nations like the German Empire, Russia, Italy.
The CSA have also a new flag for the campaign map.
* 6 historic Generals with original Portraits added into the campaign.
* Reworked faction economics and diplomatic settings.
(relations between CSA, USA, Britain and France.)
* changed names of important leaders

New Changes
The techtree got again a rework. This was needed to include in 2.5 the new
recruitment system. More about this new system i will show you later.
But i can promise it´s really interesting and together with this
finished techtree a real improvement in strategic gameplay.
Here you can see the new techtree:
A few techs are gone, many are edited/renamed. A picked out the 5 most important.
The heavy ammunition supply - tech will lower your cost for
the new cannon forges and increase artillery reload through technological improvements.
---
Troop Tactics - tech will give your generals more line of sight
and raise his command level for infantry.
---
Supply Structure improve the march points of your army,
lower upkeep cost for all land units a bit and also lower
by 25% building costs from supply stores.
---
The Light Ammunition Supply - tech improve you
armies supply level and lower upkeep- and recruitment costs for infantry.
---
Improved Light Weapons - tech will give you a bonus
for accuracy to all infantry but raise recruitment costs from them a bit.
This Techsystem will be improved in 3.0!
do you have a release date for 2.5?
