    Please make sure you have downloaded and installed latest QuickFix before posting:
    IBFG5 QuickFix5.0.3

    Q: I just installed basic version but cannot load campaign.
    A: Delete map.rwm in bi/data/world/maps/base it's a standard operation when using a new map for the first time.
    Q: After i extract and then go to the main campaign all it keeps saying is please select an item from this list.
    A: Please make sure you have installed to the proper folder. It should be "...\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War" NOT "...\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\bi" OR anything else
    A: Please make sure you are patched to 1.6
    Q: I have no sound
    A: Go to Options and enable sound, it's disabled by default

    horrible historical bug: there's some sassanid units that have in shield and flag the symbol of actual iran. is a mistake, because this symbol was created by the new islamic regime.

    as wikipedia says: "The Emblem of Iran displays the name of God (or "Allah") in artistically stylized Arabic letters. The emblem is also an overlaid rendering of La Ilaha Illa Allah (There is no God but Allah). The exact shape of the emblem and an algorithmic ruler-and-compass construction is described in the national Iranian standard ISIRI 1.
    The emblem was designed by Hamid Nadimi, and was officially approved by Ayatollah Khomeini on May 9, 1980.
    the dissidents called the emblem as the "bloody Fork", and calling for a return to the former Lion & sun emblem."

    obviously no correct persian unit can have a similar symbol; is like to give to romano-british the union jack on their shields....


    i guess it will be better give the Derafsh "flag", as more nice symbol and historically accurate.

    Default Graal knights strike again

    There appears to be a bug with mounts for mercenary graal knights.Extra line, addding merc texture in horse cataphract (descr_model_battle) solves it

    Grail mercs were removed from mercs list in 4.0 but I forgot that they still can emerge as a part of rebel armies. Well, I'll fix it in 4.1

    Yes, I gave this symbol for sassanian spearman and zhayedan banners.
    I was actualy going to replace that symbol on Spearman's shields with more accurate persian lions and Derafsh standard may replace zhayedan's banners.

    Actually this is bug for people with Slave faction enable for custom battles.Most users should not be affected

    and BTW excellent work on your mod.Congratulations

    other two lesser bug:
    1- equites parthii have a wierd helmet, that in some pose became in part transparent;
    2- one of the sassanid clibanari units have the face mask with still black stuff on eyes and back of beard - needs to be transparent as in the other units.

    You actually playing the game or pausing and replaying it to see every minute detail? lol You're good at finding these bugs. And yeah - Attila's bugs are covered by his patch. have fun and keep up the good work!

    ahaha well i like to play and i'm a good observer;
    i guess also that i will find some other lesser bug of similar small importance.

    there's for example a strange bug - in some two or three cities, like cesarea in the ERE - unit cards are not displayed when i open unit infos. if i open unit infos on other city - in the same game, in the same turn - they appear. if i try to open them again - nothing. just white stuff.
    btw, i guess there's maybe some wrong stuff on my pc because it appears just sometime.

    i've in fact tried to open the savegame and UI are displayed. i've closed rtw, load the same savegame.. and there was no UI - to ALL units - in cesarea.
    hm, i've not seen for building.

    maybe there's some stuff of my pc... i guess is not a mod bug.

    Ive noticed for the franks the Atrucions infantry or however its spelled, their unit cards dont match the units on the field. In fact the units on the field look exactly like the Salian units . This was on the campaign game and on the custom battles. Im using gershs version since it comes with an installer but since hes using your mod primarily i thought i should report it. Overall great skins man

    There is definitely something wrong with the night battles. I tried installing over clean 1.4 & 1.6 and looked through all the txt but can’t figure out the problem. If this has already been brought up please delete this post.

    I got a CTD fighting the romano british as the picts. It all worked fine until at the final second of loading it crashed to desktop.

    minor bug report:
    desc_buildings lists british legionaries, coastal levies, et al recruitable by WRE, WRR, RB; desc_unit only by Romano_British. u can see them recruitable when u click the barracks description, but cannot actually recruit them as WRE.

    Why do i keep on getting CTDs fighting the romano british as the picts it has to be one of the skins or something cause it loads to a certain point then crashes.

    This mod appears to have a lot of potential, and I really want to play it. I can get the game up, but I have a recurring bug, playing as the WRE, as follows:

    If I click or right-click on Constantius Flavius (in the family scroll), or go to the unit recruitment in the city in which he is located, the instantaneous result is a CTD. Since the fellow is the faction heir, I assume that I'm going to have to deal with him, quite a bit. CTD's could be a problem!

    This is with the latest version of the mod.

    hmmm, interesting. Thanks for the info, as Mylae mentioned it is most likely caused by the ancilliaries, I am building the next version from scratch so I hope to avoid that problem.

    @Mylae, looking forward to that, and may I say, excellent work on the UI (from new files)!!!

    we have tested for this potential problem in next version, and it is not present, so this problem should not crop up in next version, if I can have the chance to test 5.03 again will see if this is replicated in my case. else can anybody confirm this same problem happening to them? if other ppl don't experience it, possible cause is a trait that has been given to the character, as opposed to something available from the start, in which case it may/may not happen in other cases.
