I would like to take the opportunity on behalf of all the IB team (and I know there are individual Xmas messages in the sub-forums) to wish all of you the best for the festive season.
It has been another great year of debate, and I can see that it still rages even on Xmas Eve. I have been amazed at the knowledge, dedication and passion of all of the people who share a love of this period. May it continue.
There is a lot to look forward to in the new year, if the latest IB:RR previews are anything to go by, with the release of the long awaited IB:RRV8.0 and IJV4.0 (IB:SAIV1.0).
I'm sure Rio has more to come with his IB:FD mod and then of course there will be the further development (and some may say long overdue) of IB:RO and not forgetting MMFA's IB:UR mod as well.
I think it is always good at this time of year to reflect on what we have done and achieved not only with IB but more importantly in our own lives, what influences we have had on others around us and how we can make our lives and the lives of others better.
I managed to see the movie Agora recently and was greatly impressed with what I saw. I must say that by the end I was weeping. Weeping not just for the fate of Hypatia, but also for what not has changed over the last 1500 years. The nature of power, intolerance and ignorance versus, love, acceptance and knowledge.
So at this time, reflect; reflect on what you want in the world to be better, to be kinder, more understanding, and more just.
On that note, I again wish all of you stillness, simplicity and contentment and we all at IB truly thank you for your support. Long may it rein.
Kind Regards
