Default Increasing the difficulty of the A.i

Currently the A.i. preforms a half baked attack sending maybe half a stack at one of your cities, you can then retaliate with one or two stacks of your own and steam roll over them.
Is there any way to have the a.i. attack with two or three full stacks at once against several cities at once so that it feels like a full on coordinated invasions, instead of having them siege a city they cant possibly take or declare war by blockading one of your ports?

They have nothing in their whole imperial arsenal that can break the spirit of one Irishman who doesn't want to be broken.

settings = battles/campaign dificulty. Oh and what turn to please. and faction. Gracul AI usually is up and running between turns 20-35 in my campaigns...

Yeppers peppers...gracul's AI likes to scrap more than the rest...

declare war by blockading one of your ports?
Hmmm... I think this is a MTWII Vanilla issue.

How come? I chose them because i thought they would be easy, because you start out as the most powerful so your really powerful at the start and they dont reli have any disadvantages?

Not really basically sums it up.

AI will do coordinated attacks a few times but it is more by accident. Your best bet is playing with Gracul CAI and that way all neighboring AIs will attack. Not in a coordinated way but at least the pressure stays on. In later stages of a campaign when some factions grew more powerful you will see more invasion type attacks but by then your own faction is so huge as well so...

Map position also plays a big role. Byzantine is spread out on the map in a way that despite being in the center most neighbors only have 1 or 2 avenues of attack. Mountains and seas protect your heartlands pretty well. Try playing Lithuania, HRE, or Turks and you will get more attacks from multiple directions. Kiev and Poland as well to a lesser extent because they less powerful neighbors.

i played as lithuania in SS 6.3. vh/vh savage ai. i destroyed the novogords with brains not steel. ( well kinda steel but i used brains not just take a city and then another fight all armies) i had many teritories when i destroyed novgorod. then i decided to attack kiev, which ended in a big disaster. they had 4 stacks of soldiers spread out. my eror was that i didnt aim for the kiev, like i did to novgorodians, i aimed for novgorod. so i just rage quited
