Napoleon with 2 graphic cards

So I recently got a new (to me) computer with two nvidia 8800 GTS cards and Windows 7. Dxdiag says I have a combined video memory of 1574 MB. I know that "ultra" settings are available for computers with video memory over 512 MB, however I can only select up to "high." Is my computer not recognizing my second graphics card or what? I've got updated drivers, enabled SLI, and put in a profile for Napoleon on the nvidia control panel. I also get the same VRAM readings with onlyo ne graphic card in.

Dedicated memory is 295mb. This is what the game engine is reading. It's not reading the "shared" memory and robbing it from ram.
Are your cards in SLI? Do you have the profiles set for them?

How can I increase the dedicated memory?

The only way I know is a card with more memory.

It looks like all it's doing is reading 295mb and spreading the load across both.

Why can't it take some dedicated VRAM from the second card?
