Can somebody help me pls, with the Fire spark tutorial. I am 9. and number 10 confuses me, cause I have the the main fire spark layer and then one I just put motion blur on and it want me to merge them, but then it says create a new layer and fill it with black, put it underneath the layer with sparks and merge them, so now you have 2...... how does that work, he wants me to merge the black layer with my sparks, so now I only have the black layer with all my sparks on it and the red/black background, then in 11. he says to take my fire sparks layer and put it on linear dodge (add) and open curves, but after I have done the thing with the curbes it is such a bright red colour coming from the bottom it looks stupid and nothing like the picture. But still I decided to finish it even though it looks horrible and this is the results
