Default Looking for submods improving siege assaults

Hello all, I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good, well thought out submods that change the siege assaults?

What I'm looking for is a mod that makes the assaults more realistic, that is - making it harder to take castles and cities by assault. For example by increasing build points for towers, giving the defender higher boost while fighting on walls, making the towers more deadly and making it possible for them to fire inwards to the courtyard.

    Anything you can recommend ?

I know at least some of those things like tower accuracy, defender bonus are moddable. Just don't know where to edit them.

I think I know how to edit the tower accuracies, but I'm not sure how to change the missiles from the current arrows into crossbow bolts (I want to do this for anything above castle level)

Also, I would like to know which missile is fired by the murder holes in the barbican (the gatehouse). Surely this should also be crossbow bolts, not the wimpy arrows currently fired

One of the things I don't know how to do is to make it possible for towers to fire into the courtyard. For some strange reason, city wall towers do this, but not castle towers. It must be changed!

One more thing: Did any of you notice that there are two sets of oil spouts on the castle gatehouses? One is on the outer side of the wall, the other is on the inner. But the inner spouts won't pour oil. I wish I could change that too.

    Thanks for all replies

the inner will poor out...u just still have to hold the gatehouse...which usually by that point u don't...but they will, at least they have before on mine...when my guys were fighting literally inside the gatehouse and the attackers were on either side of the gate.

That's very strange, because usually it's enough just having a couple of guys near the gatehouse for it to be "held". And I had one siege with the enemy bursting through the defenses at the gate on ground level, but with a full troop of my own light swordsmen still sitting on top of the gatehouse, one would think that would be enough to hold it ? And yet the oil did not pour ...
