    Default Unit Sizes- Assistance

Hey guys! I have a bit of a query about unit sizes. I am using v6.3 SS (downloaded at around august september) and everything like that . A friend of mine downloaded it yesterday and told me his cavalry unit sizes were 90 for the Teutonic Order while mine are only a measly 61; despite having my game unit sizes set to huge . Can anyone assist, or even better, can anyone tell me which folder/how I can modify the unit sizes to say I have 200 for a standard sword regiment.

Thanks alot for your future feedback, much regards!

Look for the export_descr_units file in Your Mods/SS_6.3/data folder and then for entries like that:

    soldier Viking_Raiders, 60, 0, 1

The blue one is the Unit size. 60 is the maximum, 6 the minimum. It is for medium/normal unit size - maximum on huge is 240 - so Youīll have to calculate. I donīt know why Your friend has more men in his Units - perhaps You are using different submods - other fixes than the latest? I believe 6.3 is well balanced.

Do I look specifically for that entry or do I apply that to all the entrys, is there not the universal unit scale change as there is in Empire and Napoleon?

You said You allready set the unit size to huge - if not it could be done in the game options. That is the biggest unit size.

And Yes Youīll have to edit every single Unit if You want to change it to Your liking. This was just an example for the Viking_Raiders.

60? i'm pretty sure the maximum is higher than that.... 60 = 200 men on huge... 250 is 80 men IIRC..

I just took the maximun/minimum numbers out of some tutorials. Never changed that myself. There stood 60 = 240 on huge also. So perhaps thatīs wrong. But i guess he decided to change it in the game options.

Yes, 60 stands for huge , since on large it is multiplied by two (which gives you 120) and then for huge this number is multiplied by two again which gives you 240. I'm guessing with smaller scales the number gets halved, so with 60 you would end up with 30 on small and 15 on smallest.
