Congrats. Considering how much time it usually takes to finish the "long" campaign it does leave one with feeling of an achievement and satisfaction.

I wish there were some kind of cut scene or something proclaiming you emperor of the world or something like that. Just that pop up saying OK you won wanna keep playing or call it a day is a bit of a let donw

yeah the crowning was quite cool, also if you look at the minimap you'll see that i was getting my ass handed to me by the timurids lol, was so fun losing to a faction for a change, i could only slow them down, not beat them, i think they would of taken asia minor before i could send my armies from west to east, inexperianced troops just cant beat them, first time fighting them it was all so fun really

If you lose a campaign by running out of time, do you get the option to continue?

@Marechal Ney - yes, you get the option to continue even if you haven't met victory conditions at the time limit.

@TheGreatOne - congrats! Victory is sweet. One thing I'm noticing on your map is so many rebel territories in the Middle East and Africa. Turkey and Egypt gone ... and you didn't have to fight the Mongols.

I was trying to recreate a medieval roman empire as venice, so half of it was aesthetics and the other half of it was the strategic value and the money worth investing in them, both of which didnt work out to be worth the hole it would make at the time, then it wasnt necessary i was getting adequate income, the only thing i had to worry about was competition, as for the rebel settlements in asia minor (below the mongol empire) the timurids were ravaging me there so i lost yerevan and tsibilli, as for the mongols they spawned above the steppes and didnt head my way, fortunately or i'm pretty sure i'd have lost the territories
