It's before 3000, two orc factions are finished by me and my allies, Isengard destroyed by Rohan, and Harad pushed back by Gondor. What should I do with that?It seems the evil side will be gone before the real war begins

Are you playing VH/VH? I certainly don't find the evil factions hopeless. In my current Silvan Elves campaign Rohan has been finished of by Isengard, Gondor is pushed back and while Rhûn is doing well Mordor have complete rule of the chess board. The only thing giving me a chance is that they're fighting Isengard who are not to be messed with either.
Then again, OotMm and OoG are both eradicated, much thanks to the dwarves. I think it can end up very randomly.
Easiest way to get harder campaign is not to blizz. I don't know have you blizzed but it sounds like you haveIf it is so, next time let the AI develop cities little and soon you find endless stacks coming to your lands

Play another campaign, don't blitz, build up a bit, and notice Gondor and Rohan will fade away if you don't help them.

I have a question to the topic "blitzing"
How do you handle the spawning full-stacks with high-tier units when the enemy loses key settlements? And then the garrison-script in every second city?
In person I think many of you play without the garrison script or on lower difficulty as they say, but... I can't attest it
I tried one time to blitz Isengard as Eriador, but it wasn't really effective. As the hight-tier unit stack in the forest near Duneard(?) spawned It was tine to go in defense. I'm a defensive player, so maybe my talent to blitzing doesn't exist?A question I wanted to ask since a long time

With a stack of archers and generals, you could easily wipe out the spawned stack in Duneard. Even on vh/vh. And wait to attack Isengard when there is a unit next to the city and you can take it without the garrison script spawn. Other than that, Isengard has absolutely nothing to counter your heavy cavalry bodyguards and could be wiped out before turn 20.
Ok thanks for the explanation
btw. archer/Bodyguard-stacks are lame
I play TATW since over a year and didn't know this until now, niceAnd wait to attack Isengard when there is a unit next to the city and you can take it without the garrison script spawn![]()

About blitzing. As rohan vh/vh I captured isenguard in turn 6.And destroyed the faction in turn 19.Isenguard and dunland have garrison script and they get an extra full stack with good units when u capture isenguard-in order to recapture it i think. It is hard but doable if u are good in battles.
If u do nothing about it the good factions are always losing.Probably because orcs win in autocalc battles.Except dwarves who are slowly(really slowly, they have pathfinding problems i think!) winning every time.
High elves annoy me, it took them 124 turns to finally declare war on isengard, by that time Rohan was wiped out

I think it is really hard for some factions to attack someone who is neutral to them.High elves are not mega campers.Their four cities are isolated and surrounded by allies and isenguard. At the same time imladis is surrounded by enemies, ootm and oog.So the ai gets fully defensive.I think it should be scripted that they attack isenguard.(Same way oog and eriador always declare war). And also at their win condition they should destroy isenguard and not mordor cause mordor is too far away...
Actually in my HE campaign i was really confused because after i destroyed isenguard simply there was no space.I mean u have to attack eriador for pure economic reasons especially with all the corruption.
Also i think autocalc should be fixed and balanced if its possible. The good factions except dwarves get really pawned...
If high elves start off at war with Isengard then they wont camp so much

In my current campaign evil is doing poorly, I am playing defensively as gondor, the only evil faction doing well is rhun... second to the dwarven blitzkrieg. Results may vary
