sorry guys for the double post http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=412589
I have an issue with my installer because I cannot select the disk and my c drive is full
any suggestion?
That is why it won't let you select. You need if the memory don't fail me that you need at laest 9gb free on C: drive to have that option.
I don't get you
I want to install the game on the d drive but with this installer I cannot select the drive
so it seems that I have to install the game on drive c where I have only 70 GB
is a lot less than 70gb. Which is it? Having had this game since release, and when somone says "full", odds are less than 5ggb.I have an issue with my installer because I cannot select the disk and my c drive is full
Have you installed it on C: before?
70 is what I need on c, sorry but you don't answer my issue: I need to install the game on D not c
what I'm supposed to do?
How much room do you have on D:? Over 150gb?
Personally, once I just moved over onto D; to get the thing to install on D:, installed it, then moved my C: stuff back.
on d I have over 700 gb. sorry but once again I don't get your suggestion. the installer goes straight on c independently from the drive I'm
C:\ free space is 70, size 150 gb.
back to the topic this installer seems flawed to me as I cannot select a drive different from c
Is yours one of those that C: is for the operating system and small because that's about all that's on it?
How big is your C: drive and how much free space.?
See if you can get another disc out of Sega. I see no reason why not.
Cardus - you're right. The installer for M2 Gold pack is flawed and will not allow for install to any drive other than C:\. But there is good news - both of the original installers were included in the compilation and both of those allow for install to drives other than C:\.
What you will need to do is browse the discs and look for the separate installers for both M2 and Kingdoms - IIRC they will be placed respectively on Disc One and Disc Two. Run the M2 installer first (and place it wherever you want) and then run the Kingdoms installer. Afterward find the Gold 1.5 patch for your region.
Let us know if this doesn't work for you. Good luck!
