Rome on high
M2TW on medium
ETW on lowest of the low.
NTW,low but with some options slightly higher.

So essentially what Im asking is would Shogun run well on low?



I am looking into something newer,either a desktop or craptop but might not get it in time for shogun 2.

I wouldn't bother buying it, if you can only run Med2 on medium. That's from 2006, this is a 2011 game.

Well it's the same engine as NTW, but if it's very low then I should not buy it. IF there's a demo then you could try that one. But I would make sure first that you can play the game before buying it.

I'd recommend investing in a desktop to do some gaming on, it's not half as expensive as it used to be to get a mid range gaming Desktop.
