Nor worth doing it via Milk, GOM doesn't mixes the bone sets from 2 different models. In Milk it will mix both the bone sets resulting in a crash or Jesus Syndrome.

ok nvm i fixed my problem and the units work perfectly, but does this tutorial work for adding other parts of a unit, like lets say adding a helmet to another unit or do i have to do some extra steps

but it depends on from model to model if the helmet is classified as a different group otherwise you have to copy the whole head and readjust it.

    Umm I have a problem that i can't resolve.
I transform spearman to knights, just adding sword in right hand. but, Knights are use spear and sword as their first weapon. and they are charging with both spear and sword!! It is so Funny and strange.
I search what is problem, and another cavalry has shield - Mat : Figure ... and mine has shield - Mat : attachment
but, I don't know how to change shield from Mat:Attachments to Mat:figure. I think it is need to use first weapon :spear and second weapon : sword.
How can I this? ... Sorry for my poor English

You have to assign Spear as a primary weapon which will be used while charging and sword as a secondary weapon which will be used when they are in melee.
See the entries of a existing knight like Mailed knights or Templars.

Ages since I modded a model... But anyway, I think there are comments to edit that determine which weapon is primary and which is secondary. Sounds like maybe your model has them both set to primary.

I am sure seeing a knight on foot charging with his heavy (horse) spear makes for good entertainment.
