    Default Higest Kills in Battle

Okay, I wanted to see how good you guys are in battle by posting the most amount of kills in one battle, but here is a catch, you have to post a pic of it so we know you are not lying.

I am currently getting a new comp, so I can not post any due to RTW being uninstalled, but will in a few days.

    Peace,

are you looking for the highest kill ratio, or just the most amount of kills total? I can guarantee you that the highest kills will probably come from fighting 3-4 gallic captains (aka roman lunch)

i just fought probably the biggest battle of my life the last time i played.

I had a small town in Southern Germania, my garrison wasn't very experienced but they were battle torn i didn't have any legionary group with over 55 men.
All together i had about 550 men, outside my walls i was surrounded by nearly 4000 Gauls and Germanics. Now when i'm defending a small town...i don't fight at the walls, i go right back to my town square so i only have 2-3 different areas to defend.
Anyway they were coming at all 3, but thank god the largest one had only 3 groups coming at it so i can use the little men i had there to reinforce any line that looked like it was going to break.

The battle was long and it seemed like it would never end, but my troops seemed like they'd never fall back (love the shield wall) i ended up losing about 200 men, and they had about 80 left.

And you should also have to state what difficulty level you're playing on as that will affect the results.

Yes, this is to be the format:

    difficulty-
    amount of your troops lost-
    their troops lost-
    your troops at the begining-
    theirs at begining-

    and if possible, a picture.

    See ya guys,

Stacked army of Urban Cohorts. Gold weapons and armor. bronze to silver experience. I was fighting two full armies of egyptian. 200 men of mine died but about 4000 of them get sloughtered. Can you say throwing spears? lol. Chariots killed most of that 200 but spears put them down... no pics b/c my comp wont read the file type right... had to just get rid of a few dozen...

'3rd Battle of Narbo Martius', 248 BC.

    - Settings: Hard / Medium

    Results:

My Legion lead by Quintius Julius, Defensive: Troops deployed: 2,804 / Kills: 4,222 / Men Remaining: 2,424

    Enemy: Gauls,

Captain Erbin, Attacker: Troops deployed: 3,375 / Kills: 92 / Men Remaining: 245

Geraint of Aturius, Attacker: Troops deployed: 1092 / Kills: 227 / Men Remaining: 0

I was outnumbered almost two to one. I was not a good scenario; the main assault came from Captian Erbin with his 3,375 men, many veteran heavy grade infantry. I did have a slight advantage with high ground, but it was not too steep. Plus I knew that I would not be able to repeat the great pillum attack with the thousand reinforcments, plus my men would be exhausted, assumming I survived the first attack.
At the start of the main assualt, I had a few hastatii available for a flank manauver, plus two calvary. I was able to surround them and shortly after they broke and attempted to route, after that a massacre began.
However, I still had Aturius's reinforcments to deal with. I sent the fresh cohorts I had left, with two slingers for support. I also sent my calvary around the right flank, through woods so they would not be detected. The battle was a success, however I lost more casualties than expected. My calvary wiped out all the routing units, however some enemy remained. I thought it was a routing unit going through the woods to escape. I sent one calvary division to mop up. However it was actually a full unit of chosen swordsmen hidding to ambush! Luckily I was able to reverse my calvary's pursuit, and engage the enemy with frontal assault with principes, then attacked the rear with my Quintius's calvary unit.

I have not pic of the battle, so I guess you will have to take my word for it :p

I had a 10:1 kill-ratio victory (and I can produce a screenshot if desired) but I was defending a city, so that's not really fair when compared to field battles. You get a pretty big multiplier when you're defending a city.

I got a 265:1 kill ratio (1324 Greeks for the loss of only 5) attacking a city in my current Brutii campaign (M/VH).

No big battles in this one yet, though 4516 and a heroic plus swords on the map for this battle http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=39739

I noticed that when I hit Ctrl+Prt Sc, a screenshot is put into Clipbrd, but only one. If I hit the keys multiple times during battle, only the last screenshot I took remains. I am obviously missing something here....can anybody tell what that is?

Press Ctrl+Tab and paste it in Paint.

I got 7000 kills once. It was against the greeks when I trying to march to sicily, they poped out with 2 full stacks of swords and hoplites.

I knew the origional army deployment wouldn't work so I deployed at the top of the steepest hill I've ever seen, and in the corner of the map so I wouldn't have to worry about flanking troops (I know its cheep). I deployed in 3 lines 2 lines of precepees then a line of Triarii, with 2 units of Slings behind them. 3 units of veletes in front to tire them out, my general and 2 equates at the very back.

The battle was long, I routed the equates right off the bat, they would just get in my way. The enemy marched up, and just accepted being pelted by rocks and javs for a long time (till the 2nd army was in position). I withdrew my skirmishers a few moments into the battle and let the first ling engage the sword hoplites. After 10 minutes of continuous fighting I deployed the 2nd line to strengthen the first. I could not flank them, and they could not me so the battle lasted a good 20 more minutes before my slingers broke the right flank (1 unit of thier hoplites) At this point only one unit of thiers had routed, and it was killed by the slingers. I tried to flank them with triarii but they closed the gap with another 2 units of hoplites. At about this point The center of the line was almost breached so I deployed the rest of the Triarii to keep the enemy at bay.

a few minutes later they deployed thier spartans to the center, so the only thing I could do is move my general closer to the center. The spartans slaughtered my troops to the point where the center was 1 man thick and a few of the precepees (with 2-4 men left) routed. And they wouldn't rout!, the enemy just kept it up and I found out why.. The enemy 8 astar general was right there, standing within slinger range. I sent the rest of the skirmishers to fight the spartans while I had the slingers concentrate fire on the enemy general. After loosing his bodyguard he charged the right flank and I countered with my general(to try and kill him). It worked, he died and both flanks routed. My men killed hundreds before turining in on the spartans. The main line was already gone so I just had the slingers fire on the spartans thru my own skirmishers while my general chased the routing forces.

That was the most exciting and hard battle I've ever played. Medium dificulty. I lost almost 2500 troops and killed a little over 7000

This was probably my best victory in terms of most killed. I had two armies and only half of my first army retreated. I didn't let the second army join and I had unlimited men on battle field on so they had all there men at once.

Sorry to criticize you, but you aren't playing by the house rules (no more than 8 legionares + 1 Cohort). Anyways, how did you get your HUD to not included all that worthless stuff?
