He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight. He will win who knows how to handle both superior and inferior forces. He will win whose army is animated by the same spirit throughout all its ranks. He will win who, prepared himself, waits to take the enemy unprepared. He will win who has military capacity and is not interfered with by the sovereign.

Not another one of these muscle felxing threads....Jeez, Im betting 1 year from now we will see this exact same thread ontly titled "What will be the most powerful country in the world in 2107?"
No offense, but this is a bad idea for a thread...but I'll take my shot anyway and say...the United States will be the most powerful country in 100 years. We'll just have a whole lot more competition.
another one of these...
i will have conquered the world by this time in history and so the Muddish Empire will be the most poweful country which my son will rule well.

All I can say to this is it probably won't be anyone we think it will be. I'm sure we could sworn in 1906 that in 2006 that Germany would have been the most powerful. It was a new power, it had reaped the benefits of the industrial revolution, and had a highly successful army.

What I think? There will be no single most powerful country. The US and China will be in an economic coldwar and Russia could also has the potential to become an economic superpower if they manage to get a hold of the political corruption. But this is hard to say. This is a century away. Something could (and very possibly will) happen to change the whole politico-economic landscape of the world

No we would swore that the USA is going to be the most powerful in 1906. It has the resources, manpower and landmass. At that time, America is already the greatest economy and showed no sign of weaking. And we would have been right - the American are the most powerful in 2006.
i say wales will have a vast empire twice the size of the mongol one

I'm thinking China will be the supreme world power, beucause The USA will have lost the long fought internal war of liberalismI'm also thinking that once the middle east runs out of oil, there influence on the world will decline sharply. Brazil might come up as a top world power, maybe if Great Colombia reforms they could too. Russia, and some Imperalistic African state might be up there too.
I think the US will remain as the strongest nation the next century too, unfortunately.
Hopefully, the world will unite by then. If not, some kind of European union/alliance/federation will probably become the strongest force.
PADAJ SILO I NEPRAVDO!
its not size of an army that will always win a war, i trust more on experience!!!!!![]()
