A clean install of Xp after virus
I deleted windows Xp home sp3 w/IE 8 after virus(trojan malware) corrupted my MacAfee protection/which a PC tech removed. Windows would not logon to internet. A repair install XP was not possible because of IE8 could not be removed and Xp repair would freeze, could not reinstall MacAfee. So my problem is the cost of getting my PC up and running again.
Question is…with a fresh install of XP/OS do I need to reinstall computer (MB, graphics drivers) with a new install of windows?

Yes. They are part of your motherboard chipset drivers.
