Hi from cold cold Russia, my dear comrades. Sry from my English plz)
I have some problem with my generals, they betray me again and again, my army is broken.
I'm play SS6.3+BGR-IV+LA - Savage AI. Difficult - H\H. All be nothing, but 4 of the 5 generals betray me. My generals with big army betray me, when enter into enemy territory, where my religion over 50%, and betray me into my territory.
Now i have many big army rebels into my territory, but my enemy have they too =)
Some time, unrest in the cities treated by withdrawal from the city general. After turn i return him in city and all be okey).

Re: Treachery of my generals!
Spasibo
But i don't understand because they betray me.
I have chivalry king and if my general kill prisoners (dreadly deed), his loyalty is down and he will be punished, what leads to betrayal. My logic is true?
This means that u must doing only good deed (release) or only evil deed (kill them all) and neutral is ransom?!?
Problem generals and city - this really understandably!
After BGR i want some kill... So realistic and so hard! Thx!

Re: Treachery of my generals!
Under BGR, all generals must emulate the king.
If your king is Chivalrous, your generals must perform chivalrous actions or be punished.
Release gives Chivalry, Ransom is neutral, and Execution/Kill them all is Dread. So yes, I think your logic is true.
This is as much as I know, as it has been over a year since I have used BGR.
Also, make sure your King completes as many missions as possible that the Council gives him, as this will help raise his Authority. The higher the Authority of your King, the less chance Generals will betray.

Re: Treachery of my generals!
I suggest you read the Byg's Grim Reality guide in the BGR thread in the submods forum. BGR adds a lot to the game that changes how you build your empire.
