    Default Narnia: Total War

medieval 2 seems like a great platform for a narnia version of the game.
    Any one agree?

Might be interesting to play, but I don't know if you'd get a very big following.

Well... you talk as if you expect someone else to do it.

    Luckily for you, I'm interested.

You have my sword if you intend to work on it.

EDIT: You could join me and Flavius Eiteus on the old one you know.

I don't think that Narnia is good for a mod. That's because the world is too small...

The factions would be... at max:

    Narnia
    Telmar
    Calormen
    White Witch
    Archland
those islands i don't remember the name
    Giants of the North

And there's too few settlements... the only cities mentioned in the book are Cair Paravel, Miraz's Castle, the Witch's castle, Tashbaan, Azim Balda,Beruna, Harfang and Anvar.

Besides Narnia faction would be difficult to make because there's too many races in the kingdom. Dwarves, centaurs, satyrs, humans, dryads, animals, etc.

The Lone Islands is the name, and you are too right.

@Bobalugee1940: Why do you think the last one failed?

Ya, certain factions don't have much unit wise (Lone Islands/Giants) others are way to diverse (Narnia). Plus, the map is very small and most countries have a border with only one enemy (Archenland/Calormene, Narnia/Giants). It seems too difficult. A lot of other series seem to be good for Medieval, such as Conan (it's a pretty well developed world, once you get passed ever present girl in skimpy clothing and evil magic wielder) or the inheritance cycle (large map, lots of factions such as different Dwarven Clans, the Elves, Surda, Empire, Urgal tribes, Varden, and Carvahal depending on what time you choose). But Narnia in particular seems like it would be cool, but is probably too difficult. Maybe a custom battle mod or something.

@falsedragon: the last one failed cus they stopped working on it
@beckyolt: there are many setlements just no names were given and look at http://g-entertain-911.blogspot.com/...-cs-lewis.html and a map is on that page a bit hard to read but it gives names of setlements plus we can just make cities with narnian-esque names
@everyone: the diversety will make the game amazing look at darthmod for empire total war over 300 new units and people loved it. also who ever said the calormens or archenlandians didnt have dwarves or other things but at the very least the archenlandians were described as excellent archers and the calormens as brutes so just make make a diverse amount of archers and realy tough mele units and the wild north would be all rebels with different types of giants. and we could have scripted times when the pevensies (peter, lucy, susan, edmund) arrive and the white wich coming down from the north and aslan coming and shaking things up
aso @falsedragon: i don't think i'd be much help making it cus i haven't the faintest clue how to mod it took me a month just to find out how to load a mod

Best learn then, because if you don't you won't attract a large following. Flavius Etius just sent me the old files. I could give you a copy of them.

You'd need at least 100 settlements to get a good game. And i'm sure there aren't so many in Narnia. Besides ,if you want to "create" settlements you'd have to create ALOT - and that would go alot against the lore. Besides there wouldn't be room , the world is too small. What would be possible is a Narnia custom battle mod.

Besides, do you have any modding skills?
