Hello All, It is good to be back

for a weak now people in my neighborhood played this song over and over again so I would like to find out how non-Lebanese and non-Arabs would find it.



This type of music is -for some reason- the trend in today's Lebanese music. It is freakishly popular

reminds me of Indian music. Hard to say what I really think since I don't understand the language

people in the west love money, you see, and I can't fathom a guy ever saying "Girl, you are far too rich, I can't date you or love you. I want to go back to being a peasant and you should go back to your mansion and fancy cars and leave me alone."

Ah, it reminds me of the school-skippers and their relatives who like to annoy me when I stroll through the city and think "hanging" or "chillin' " is more important than actually doing something with your life.
't is a thing of difference in culture maybe, but I doubt that there is music I detest more, I'd rather listen to a 4 hour symposium about dadaïsm in vocal art

It used to be that way here too. Then, the 90's happened. After that gender roles stopped being as important.

Nowadays lots of women work, and attain high positions such as CEOs of their companies, while their husbands stay at home with the children.

same here but that was as early as the beginning of Lebanon some 80 years ago women were considered equal to men by law but nevertheless the Lebanese are eastners

Sorry, but that guy has nothing on Amr Diab. You listen to him much? Also Arabic music is pretty awesome but I'm more into Bhangra and Eurodance.
