Clans

I'm looking for a new clan, i don't care how good they are so long as they are active.

The clan I'm currently in is annoying, 2 of the people in it left rank matches because they where losing on their side. And its not very active...

well i agree activity and conduct are the big ones in joining a clan

how about you explain a bit about you self - like are you in europe or america etc - this help people point you towards an active clan in your region

also what style of game you prefer - (navel land) (medium large settings) (terrain flat maps) ( aggressive defensive style) things like that will help

I prefer land battles, I tend to go on the aggresive while remaining cautious. I'm from England. I most often play Grassy Flatlands but enjoy other maps too. And I never camp or leave a game delibratly.

I'm willing to play a "test" battle.

You sound like a Huntsman to me. Most of our players are from UK. Myself and a couple others are from US.

Your style sounds like mine. I would rather you give me a chat and the huntsman boys a good few games before thinking of joining another clan. We don't base our decisions on recruiting by the skill level of a player but how he talks. If your an awesome player to just chat with, then you'll do fine in Huntsman.

Jmartin is the best example I can give of a decent player joining Huntsman. He was just an awesome guy to talk to and game with. He eventually played with Huntsman frequently and became a great player. Anyone will agree with me on this subject and I Invited him to the clan without telling my clan mates.

Some disagreed with me on inviting someone randomly , but I know the right people to invite. Others have to be tried out a bit.

Hey check out the M_BH. We are not really recruiting but I would be willing to have you check us out and see if you are interested.
We cater to any play style but most of us are masters of defense and counter attacking.

Yes Huntsman are definately one of the few clans who are still playing napoleon total war and will be until the release of Shogun 2 total war.
I'm sure that if you add some of the clan members on steam they would be happy to play some games with you.
Although I am not very active anymore, I recommend you get in touch with Terminator who is a clan friend and plays every night.
He is a very good player who could definately have many fun games with you and teach you a lot.

What games have people "defected" too instead? lol

Well its sort of natural for players to play less and wait in anticipation of the new release, Shogun 2 total war.

But several people, like me for example, are having heaps of fun playing other games like Starcraft 2. It's a great game and you should definately check it out. It's miles above Napoleon total war but I still enjoy ntw from time to time becoz slaying noobs is quite fun.

I also have heaps of fun playing League of legends. It's free!! I play Starcraft 2 and Empire Total war as well. I only play NTW when i want to play ETW but there is no1 on it.

I havn't bought SC2 but remember the first one fondly lol.

At the moment I'm downloading Company of Heroes Online which is free to download now from the official site, bargain.

Also I seem to be having steam problems today

Yes if you aren't a 14 yr old Korean "1337" gamer than Starcraft 2 probably isn't for you
