    Default target-performance comparison

I like these Highlanders and all other new units .....

Maybe it is a matter of taste, but please try to use more amour-details of some helmets and shields.

I think, they are too clean or perfect or without stain or without some blacksmith workings like rivettings etc.

    What do you think??

One day in the 1750s Voltaire was visiting the quintessential enlightened despot of the era, Frederick the Great. They were riding around the castle and Voltaire noticed people putting up billboards, critical of Frederick, on the castle walls. Voltaire asked Frederick how he could allow this. Frederick replied, "My people and I have an agreement, they can say anything they want and I can do anything I want."

TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

thanks, in the final version maybe,
this big detail I've also noted about the helmet, well actually they're playables, maybe SV or Sputnik will be ok to re-mod it,
I can't stay so long time about this northern roster, Italia, Iberia, Balkans and Caucasus wait me

Cool, thank you.... I love your way of individual shields on the field.....

Feel free to use my other stuff .... I like to collect and rework some equipment....maybe you should create a thread: repertory and sources for what we/ I need or something it would be nice to have

FINALLY someone makes a more realistic Scottish texture!

    A few thought though.

Claymores were a very late invention. the more generous starting date would be something like 1400, while even 2H longsowrd probably only existed after the middle of the 14th century at best. while Scotland generally recieved most medieval military technological innovations slower . they were the last Europeans to seriously use Chariots for example (possibly still using them in the dark ages) the reason that the image of Scots with Claymore became so ingrained was ironically in fact because they were still using them when every one else had long abandoned them.... like... in the 18th century!!!!!

11th-14th century Scots most likely fought with the typical Sword / Shield combo or Danish Axe amongst their better armed. (obviously lesser armed people went with a wide variety of spear / javelin / axe / knief / bows and possibly even slings. spear is probably the most prevelent weapon though. ) though thats easy enough to change

1180, an unprecedented period of peace and prosperity in East Asia, it's technology and wealth is the envy of the world. But soon conflict will engulf the entire region with great consequences and lasting effects for centuries to come, not just for this region, but the entire known world, when one man, one people, unites.....

thanks for the infos, actually those swords are not stricly claymores, its a bit shorter than the basic model.
the actual two-handed sword's animation is not adapted for a bastard sword(or the "scottish short claymore").

but probably great axes and combo(targe+sword or axe) like you said will be the norm for the early stages

So will these be in the next release or is there a way to ge them now? Im sorry, I dont really keep up with Chivalry II, but im redownloading it after quite the hiatus and am quite interested in whats new and whats coming in the future. Falling behind on things in Medieval mods is not generally forgiving.

Well, I'm not actually Scottish, but I do love Scottish history and I am of Scottish ancestry from some time ago.

    Amazing Rus-Bey!

The only thing I would suggest is making a fur waistcoat (possibly use the Rusichi Hunters/rus_ohotnik_sp), and the avarques with leather staps Almogaver mentioned from my 3.3 version. Or possibly just the straps?

    Great job , as usual

Holy ! they look great!! do they also have a coltell (big knife or shor sword) as a secondary weapon as WarlordZ also pointed out? They have it in 3.3

Can I be a bit picky? don't get mad, it's just a suggestion... Almogavars were shod with avarques (the ones in SV's model) and not boots and maybe some of them could not wear a helmet (for variety)

    Nevertheless I absolutely love them!
