RTW patch problems

Hi,
I want to patch RTW to 1.2 so I could play RTR, and EB mods. Whenever I try to install patch 1.2, I always get a message saying that it is already installed. I started up RTW, and went to the options page, and in the top right corner it said "ver 1.0". I re-installed RTW, but I cant install 1.2. Does anybody know whats wrong?

Very weird, but on the site www.totalwar.org there's a zip file of the patch so you just have to put al those files in your rome total war map.

I had the same problem at one stage. I fixed it my removing all traces of the game from the hard drive (and installing it again from the desktop - like i have explained in other posts).

Also don't forget to run patch 1.1 first!

Copying and pasting files from different versions may cause some problems when you try to uninstall or reinstall, so you may have to do what i suggested at some stage later anyway.
