We need to know at what resolution you are gonna play but in advance i can tell you that no it won't, also a 1000W PSU is an overkill but i take it's a future investment in case you hookup two GTX580 in SLI or something.
If running on higher resolution you have to OC your CPU.

btw i7 is a quad core it doesn't have 8 cores.

Yeah getting all of this off of an ebay listing and resolution will be 1920x1080. Oh just a question, is the case any good?

Thanks for the quick replies, will update this thread in a couple of days with how it goes on ebay. The listing is pretty cheap ($150) at the moment but theres no telling what will happen in the next 2 days. But with only one bid, I doubt it will skyrocket.

    I don;t think you will.

Well, if you put it to the test, way, way , way , way down the line on a 2560x whatever resolution, your graphic cards will probably bottleneck.

But in any othr case, no.

They will run ok as long as you don't overdo the extreme settings, tessellation etc.

    CPU is ok
    RAM Adequate
G.Card there are a few in the 5700 series which one in particular if HD5770 it's good, though you might wanna consider HD6850 even better.
Rest of the stuff is also ok.

Are you Xfiring 5770? If not than you should know that GTX 275 in SLI is superior than single 5770.

And imo you are way better off buying a GTX460 around 50$ more than 5770 i think which is way better than both and you can SLI with another when you have enough cash.

Yeah this is another ebay listing, but if I get it I plan to save up some cash and then buy more parts for it. Would the pc as it is now, do any good in the latest games? What settings are we talking here?

Yes it's good in uber games like Crysis etc it might give trouble on 1920x1200 resolution you have to turn off Anti-aliasing and other eye candy settings.

But other latest games say Batman AA etc are fine with a single 5770 setup.

When the listing says 2048mb for the 5770, I get wary. Can you provide the link for the listing?
