Your favorite faction?

As the topic title already suggests, what is your favorite/most played faction in multiplayer? And why?

i cant accualy vote but russia is defo my fav their army just looks too cool i love the green white and red uniforms and awesome hats esspecialy the guards plus on certain maps in melee those guys can really be effective too. most played faction according to my stats is France tho lately its more like Prussia

I voted the netherlands there a very underated nation there elite cav are great for the price and with a nine star general there np to play with and great fun , it is also a challenge which makes the game more enjoyable

The Netherlands do not get any elite units. Period. They do however get heavy cav that are pretty good. But lancers make them almost obsolete.

I am very sorry, HEAVY CAV then although you knew what i meant so you were just being very picky

Also does that mean the only good cav are lancers ?

i say britain.sure they are powerful.but definitely by far my favourite

Prussia. Was my favorite faction in ETW and now in NTW. I think they're the most popular faction now, especially for grassy flatlands.

Spain/Prussia
Spain, because i just love guerilla tactics in a 2vs2 or 3vs3. Against a noob its a fantastic rush and against a pro its very challenging.
Prussia, because of the lights... in a 2vs2 or 3vs3 its a fine thing to rely on the prussian lights. If a cav try to get them, they fall back to the lines and, more important, in the radius of the guards and their moral boni... simply a fine thing.

Easilly Ottomans, they're so varied and unique that you can build a lot out of them!

Woohoo, not the only one who chose UN. I like them for same reasons Rattue said. I also find it a great nation for its price on Medium funds. You can fit in a very large army and I believe that quantity will beat quality each time given the correct usage. That isn't true in history but this is a video game so who gives.

Sweden for me

it builds a very nice army which suits the style i enjoy the most.

Austria.Very unique and very balanced,good shooting stats,very good melee,good fun to use light cav and the mighty hungerian grens,cant ask for more,well maybe some horse arty.

I didnt want to open a whole new topic for it, but i have a question:
Are the new units you get in the Peninsular Campaign DLC also usable in Multiplayer??

well yes the new spainish units are also in multi - however i think brits have a new unit in peninsular (95th rifles i think it was) but they arent available in multi

i voted great britain. A solid infantry focused army excellent at defence or offence.
