NTW not starting - Spyware Doctor Block?

I am frustrated. Since I updated Spyware Doctor NTW does not start up any more. Also iTunes shop is blocked.

Does anybody know how I can fix this?

Yeah, Spyware Doctor. If you have it loaded, disable it, then try it.

It is strange because on my pc system NTW used to play ok...

Have you tried deleting the scripts folder and verifying your game cache integrity via Steam?
Have you tried deleting the clientregistry.blob and then trying it?

Cache intergrity, Defrag, Re-install I did them all.
Where can I find teh clientregistry.blob ?

In the Steam folder.

I deleted it, however it did not help....?
What could it be?

Computers being computers, I don't know. Cloud computing as in Steam, I know less.
Go to www.steampowered.com anonymously, install the latest Steam download from the button on there, log in, then try it.

That is exactly what am doing right now.
I de-installed everything: installed steam from scratch..let's see ( I LOVE THIS GAME DMND)

Did you delete the Creative Assembly folder, too?

I did not.
Now I got it working again: I deleted by hand everything, including the total steam folder.
After that I downloaded steam from the steam site (not using my game dvd's). Then the game was installed and I kept all my settings.

Well, the problem started again..I installed some Mods, and then it stopped loading again at start up...

It's a mod, then. Uninstall them all, delete the scripts folder, verify your game cache, then install them one at a time to find the culprit. Then let the mod team know.

The problem I think was the Laigle units 2.1 mod.

Have you informed them?

How can I do that?

Got the mod's forum or thread and post it there.
