    Default Video Editing Help

So. I make videos, and I need to edit/render them. So I got the free WMM 2011. Now its great considering what you get and that its FREE, but its just not as flexible as I need it to be, so guys, what is the best Cheap (Around $50-100?) videwo editing software. I was thinking about Roxio Creator, but I wanted to make sure there was nothing better then that.

The reason I was thinking about Roxio creator is not because its the best Video Editing software (Its better then Windows Movie Maker by a longshot) but because it had RIDICOULOUS amouts of features.

    Thanks in advance

Never used Roxio...but send a PM to Brigadier Graham, because he uses a good freeware editing program that can do quite a bit (but I can't remember the name of it).

While that may be true, it is not what he asked for.

If someone asks "what is a good car for under $20000", why would someone say "sorry, nothing beats Ferrari, but that will run you $150000" in a help forum?

Really its going to come down to userability and it having the features/plugins you want. I could technically call quicktime a video editing program since I can take multiple clips and assemble them together and add some text to it, but i don't get any transitions or the ability to off set my edits or layer the music.

I use Final Cut, but not sure if that runs on Windows at all. Basically, if roxio is in your price range and does what you want it to, then go for it. Big thing with more expensive programs over cheapos is also going to be the codecs and sizes you can export to. But most programs have some sort of youtube export preset.

    Good luck.
