Silvan Elves' bows

Are the Silvan Elves' bows still short? I saw a mod a while back that had their bows looking how they were in the movie.

Are the big bows going to be incorporated in the future?

The armor from this topic that I posted a year or so ago was implemented into the game, but the bows were not!

These are the bows that look magnificent.

I think this picture shows that the length of the bow can be done, and the detail on the bow can be done as well. The only thing that I'd consider changing a bit with this image is the curve of the bow. The curve of the bow in the movie is just a tad bit more elegant.

But don't yall like those full body length bows? It's just a minor change, but I think it makes people who are obsessed with archers very happy. The Heavy Silvan Archers have to live with ugly cloaks, so I think it would be refreshing to at least have a beautiful bow. This brings me to asking for the Cloaks of the Silvan Elves to be darker. In the movie the cloaks were darker. This snot green color doesn't really make sense from a lore prospective either. The Silvan elves are in the forest where there is a lot of shade. It would be logical for the cloaks of the Silvan Elves to be a darker green or darker color .

i whole heartedly agree with your argument. i made a post like a year ago concerning archerying in TATW. as in the bow models for orcs and elves should be polished. and the elven bows you want and so do i are the oversized galadrhim ones from the movies

In the movie they are more elgantly reflective. (Bent the other way.)
These are just common simple bows.

They arn't suppose to be like in the movie. This mod is 65% Book, 35% Movie. In the Book the give a very detailed description of how the elves bows were made and what they looked like.

If you want them to change then post it in the suggestion thread. Personally, i don't care of what the bow looks like, if KK doesn't add it into the next patch then make a mod or look for one to dl. The bows that are current are just as fine.

Well, it puts more work for KK to do, for this silly minor thing that doesn't need to be changed. Its just a bow, it doesn't need to look 100% real from the movies, its already been made and it really doesnt matter. Next time this would be much better suited for the"Suggestion Thread", or the Elven Factions Re-Development Thread.

If you want the bows changed, then download the mod, its quite easy. Instead of make it a big hassal for the TATW team to make these bows to bigger then just save the hassal for them, Download the Mod. Personally, thats what i would do or many other people would do.
