Default BRITAIN Grand Campaign Guide - HELP

As GB Campaign, it's April 1806. I've conquered all of Spain, Navarro, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands.
The Little General and the Ottomans are carving up Austria, to where there is little left of the Alpine State.
Russia is trying its best against long odds. The Prussians are laying low for the moment, though I just accepted a military alliance with the Prussians [who just grabbed Saxony].

Feanor68 in his GB guide suggests that GB now attack Denmark, to gain more key provinces and confuse the French defenses, hitting Hanover and Bretagne at the same time.

But given the strategic situation, shouldn't I try to march straight into the adjacent French provinces, to draw off French armies more quickly, and stave off the eminent Austrian collapse?
There are key provinces there too. Going the Denmark route seems to me to take too long.

    Advice and comment welcome.

When I play as GB, if I've taken Spain, Navarro, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands then I usually roll into the southern French provinces (and grab Corsica too). These are usually very lightly defended (if at all) and you will often have a decent number of turns to build up defences before the French try to attack. After that, I push east taking the northern Italian states, if they are in French hands (normally they are). You can also make a rush across France to Bretagne from Bordeaux - raiding Nantes on the way. I usually then allow Bretagne to become a protectorate. The French usually just become a trading partner with them rather than attack and this approach denies France the port at Brest.

I usually leave Denmark until late game (assuming it's a target province) as the Danes are usually a good trading partner for Great Britain and often trade links to Prussia, Austria and/or Russia can be cut.

If I'm going to attack from the GB mainland into northern Europe, I attack the Batavian Republic. I then have the choice of retaining it as a province (with a one turn link through the port to GB) or allowing it to become a protectorate. Again the French tend to trade with them rather than attack. It still serves as a handy shelter for your armies to regroup if things go badly. From there I move through Oldenburg into Hannover.

Thanks meme, I'll do just that, take out the Italian States and Bretagne at the same time.

Doesnt matter what you do. GB is by far the easiest campaign. As long as you keep building trade ships you can invade anywhere you like with ease.
