    Default Customizing the gaming experience

    Hello all,

I was just wondering if there were any nice addons or small save files that are compatibale with the SPQR mod. Things like changing their voices to latin and more marching / battle music. I'm also interested in anything that can increase the intelligence of AI behavior in battle such as preventing enemy flanks.

This is a good point, I would like some more songs too, and you can add any music you like, if the extension is mp3, but...i dont know for sure in which folder you have to put it on.

try looking for a folder like "music" or something, in the data files, but be carefull not to change some crucial data.

I'd love to change their voices to latin, but it should be kind a tricky.

well...i leave it to the generals

The latin mod doesnt work for SPQR, it would have to be adjusted. No other AI will work right with SPQR, SPQR has custom AI just made for the mod. Battle music you can do yourself if you read the tutorials on TWC.

Fair enough....but mind explaining this video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd34ISKBe-Y

They have latin voices as well as different sounding horns.

(PS: The sound of the horn is 2:55 in the video, I just love that battle horn the barbarians use. And the way the barbarians chant while marching to fight at 3:13)

Somebody modded the files to work or did and some of the units have no voice. I suggest asking them?

You know, it's possible that those voices were dubbed in for the video itself.

Also, the barbarian horn is the horn blown by the oliphant rider during the battle for Minas Tirith in Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.

Yeah it might be dubbed. But if someone made a sound pack that makes use of those sounds I would download it.
