Well then, after what feels like ages, i've decided to give DLV another shot

Currently playing HRE with Garrison & Gov-Point Script. My Kaiser got excommunicated, and although his autority is max., he offended the nobility. I then called my generals to the capital, to be either locked away or pardoned, but it seems i can't do it?

This is what i did:
King in Capital (Frankfurt)
(Single) General in the same city, which sports a dungeon
Waited for the event (a traitor has been brought to the court - or sth like that)
opened list scroll, military
clicked on the general in question

-> nothing happened
What did i miss?
