    Default One step general

I've searched for something related to this but couldn't find it in the last 12 pages of this thread, sorry if it has been mentioned before.

We are playing a hotseat and the moorish player reports one of his generals just can walk one "step" in his turn. Looking at his traits, everything seems ok, the only one that could seems to affect is "Unhealthy", but it says just that he has -1 hitpoints, nothing about movement. He has no scurvy nor pneumonia. What may be happening? Here is the FULL movement range of the unit at the beginnig of the turn:

It's a feature of one of my sub-mods, Live Long and Prosper. Since you haven't seen any, you're probably not using it
You might have an old merchant in the army. That can slow down armies a lot.

A good shout. Doesn't look like the Agent tab is highlighted though, so that's probably not it.
Could he be a Rebel? As in, if the Faction Leader has the trait 'Offends the Nobility', some Generals might become Rebels, causing massive unrest if in a town, and little to no movement.

We are at turn number 11. Is it possible that player has so old merchant at this time?

for 6.3, the sub mod LLP make generals come at age at 5, for education purposes(they make great governors if they actually surpass the young traits that nulls them down till age 16)

it's hotseat, so it must be some weird bug if it ain't some mod bug

That can only happen while in a settlement, but it might sometimes be possible to move the general out, one step at a time.

Depends on the time-scale. At 1TPY a merchant might become slow in just 11 turns, though likely not that slow.

any idea how to avoid it?

The moorish player reports he is observing that many of his generals are showing a lack of movement (not so extreme) and he can not find the exact cause, not likely to be related to a trait. He has just invaded most of the iberian península. Maybe there is sort of "exhaustion" penalization or something?

    BGR is Byg's Grim Reality.
Yes, some traits don't show up in-game, but I can only think of AI-only traits that slow movement and are hidden.

Ok I'll ask the player to send them to me, but please notice that in the next turn:

    Something is definitely messed up.
You could try looking at the log. If it's a trait, it triggering should be in there somewhere.
