Amazing, without knowing I would never say this screenshot was taken from RTW mod.

I like how you changed RK’s militia appearance. For some odd reason old militia units always looked to me like wearing butcher’s apron... Not too unfitting but still...

I never left the mod, I just had to take a two months break to sort some things out. That's life. I'd never leave FATW - that'd be like throwing away years of my life dedicated to the mod. But sometimes for some people, especially with hobbies as involving as modding, a break is in oder to get the right perspective on things.

After viewing Peter Jackson's malapropism of The Hobbit - with all it's action-slapstick, 'meet the feebles'-like cinematics and at times rigorous lore-raping; not to mention the looks of the dwarves - this is balm for the soul.

Pleasantly simple, JRRT-like and very well done!

Thanks, Dejeyo. After wading through a sea of '500 - Internal Server Error' today, I now feel like saying:

No - screenie time! Some screenies of the new units shared by RK and Adunabar. More to come in the next few days as I go along (more militias, cavalry etc). As you will notice, the RK and Adunabar Spearmen have differently shaped 3d shields. They share the same model, and the model comes with two shields, each of which dras texture from a different area of the unit skin, with the one used by the other faction alpha-chanelled out.

So, that's how you save unit slots... Clever! Same thing for wings attached on RK's helmets I presume.
I’m glad to see that Black Tree symbol is now only reserved for Cultic units.

Long time no see. Yes, a bit of a déjà-vu for you with some elements. New Heads and helmets though, and textures, of course. The more basic units (many militias) benefit a lot from some other work I've done last year. So...

Of course you've changed the helmets. Gondorian militiamen running around in sallets would be inexcusible.

And obviously no high tier units. Can't have poll-axe wielding soldiers in full plate strolling around in Middle Earth, can we?

P.S.I thought to replay Fourth Age some day ago and visit this thread.Imagine my amaze, when i found that you guys, working on new version of this brilliant mod!
I wish you luck
