Why didn't macedonian cavalry wear any armour on their horses? Also, why didn't the praetorian cavalry wear any armour on their horses?

As in the texture? Not historical. In real life, cavalry's main advantage over infantry was mobility and armour hinders on that.

Well, at the time of alex, horse armour was not yet introdiced to europe. After his conquest of persia, it was copied from the scythians. So late hetaroi probably had some kind of horse armour.

Praetorian cavalry - emperor's bodyguard, not often used in combat.

Yeah, if you think about it, it's kinda logical the cataphracts didn't only armour their horses but themselves as well. Prevents you from getting thrown off your horse

Macedonian horses have no armor becuase everything that glitters is not galvanized iron and you should not change horses midstreams.
