You are using the original americas folder for your mod. I would suggest to change the name of the mod folder (together with the required changes to the BAT and CFG file) and then run the instructions in the first post.
The log does not show an error but the fact that the mod started seems to indicate a correct Steam procedure. Did the mod work in it's present state (no further modifications since it last worked) previously?

    Hi Gigantus
    You are truly great!
After i change folder name and make the proper changes on .bat and .cfg files, upload again with your tool the mod and then exit and reopened steam.
    Now the mod works!
    Thanks a lot!

Hello, I was wandering if someone could help me? I'm having trouble with the 1648 mod. I installed it and all the patches and the English translation, and added it to the mod launcher but when i start it i get a error saying "Uh oh. This isn't good. No idea why, but exiting now. Sorry pal." I've tried a couple methods to get it to work with no luck. I also have other mods that don't work for me like Two Thrones and With Fire And Sword but the strange thing is that i have some mods that do work like The Third Age and The Last Kingdom they're all installed the same way. Im running steam version of Kingdoms. Please Help!!

This will not be related to the launcher but the 1648 mod itself. Please consult the 'error reporting' section in the first post of the 1648 mod thread and then report your problem there.

Right-click the installer, click Properties, click Compatibility tab, Check run as Administrator, click okay, and done.

Download both at the same time, then run their installers.

Another thing; I've seen varying claims on the correct file pathway for the installer (for steam) some go just to the mideaval 2 folder others to the mod folder in kingdoms which is it?

Whenever I try to delete a mod from the kingdoms launcher, it keeps coming back even though I click on delete mod settings. The mod is also appears in my Medieval II launcher so how do I remove it from there?

Let me begin with I am very excited to play this mod but I am a little confused. I downloaded 2.1, 2.1 core files, and the launcher mod. I install both of the files as described for steam users, And set up the launcher app, but when I check the files it seems the packs didn't install they're basically missing, the mod will start and the cinematics for the mod will play, and the Triforce animation even shows up for the mouse, but the game it's self is just regular old Medieval 2. Help plz?

Try this method if you are having difficulties with the launcher: Steam compatible modStarter
