Alternate Reality

Ok what has happened so far in my game,

France is invading Germany (Me) (France has napoleon with a full stack army within like 8 turns)

England made peace with Germany
Russia is just building massive armies and doing nothing.

Anyone see anything wrong with this?

England is still a separate entity

France is pretty passive when you are Germany. Russia is the real threat.

We've said this many times, and we will still stand by this statement. By the time of the 5.0 release date, including Startpos V2, all of this should be fixed and just dandy

And then your WWI experience should be greatly improved

I don't see anything wrong with alternate reality... after all thats what you do when you play any TW game.

Yes but its nice to see the alliances stay intact, especially when your trying to play a historical WWI campaign, which I think many fans try to do. And if you really enjoy playing alternate reality, then at least you still have the option to CREATE that alternate reality on your own with Startpos V2, where as now it is forced upon you

wait are you sure, cause i thought they put "sme" of things from Starpos V2 is in the current because Germany is attacking me like crazy(im Italy)

Germany is the best. Followed by Austria-Hungary.
Playing the Allies is simply too easy. Your Allies will eat up the Central Powers alone.

I think the main issue is that certian countries arent able to build alot of arty whiles others can, this makes the battles lop sided most of the time, i always play as austria to make the game a bit more interesting, but of course the new startpos will fix all these issues

Nothing Wrong with alternate realities.

I mean my WW1 campaign is very strange. Basically as Great Britain, Spain declared war on me. After i attack the Spanish mainland, the French and Russians break their alliance with me and France declares war. So for the next year or so France keeps attacking my trade links and trade ships. But i manage to smash their navy and blockage all their ports. While doing so i try to make peace with them and Russia. Both keep refusing too. So i make peace with Germany and Austria. Then after another year i manage to ally with Germany and Austria after Russia declares war on me for attacking Sardinia. Italy somehow gets destroyed by the Ottomans (Which i give silly amounts of money too). I am currently fighting in France and Belgium against my former allies.

Here are the Alliances in my List:

The 'Allies': Italy, France, Russia, Sweden, Belgium

The 'Central Powers': The Ottomans, Germany, Portugal, Austria Hungary, Great Britain.

Its still quite fun.
