i hate noobs so much they rage quit they call you a hacker when your not so does anyone else gety noobs all the time i almost never get good players

It depends on the kinds of noobs,I find playing new players to be kind of refreshing from the competitive playing against veterans.Also,if they DON'T rage quit, I always love helping out the new guys and giving them tips on do's and dont's.

But yes,I hate the rage-quitters and whining incompetents I get every now and then.They're the ones that make me wonder why i've spent half an hour of "No Response From Host" errors for a battle

I sometimes wonder what it feels like for campers when they are getting totally owned.
I'm not the rushing type so I sort of take bites out of their vulnerable spots with art and lights... it's usually a slow death if they're in a good position.
And it can't be any fun for them at all, sitting around doing nothing getting sarlacced.

Also, I hate people hosting ranked games on Waterloo, you might get good players if you stop doing that, Pericles.

i agree. i keep on seeing players with massses of stars hosting waterloo and borodino no rules etc. so you know they're going to be sat on a hill with rockets and howitzers.

The worst is when people host a battle on Austrlitz and switch to the defensive side. They choose Russia and plan to bring 4 unicorns Also, Russia gets a "resistant to tiring from snow" or whatever so it makes it even gayerr. This would be a really easy way to rob noobs of points but would be too easy and very boring.

I think a noob is someone who is new to a game but also someone who practises lame imbalanced or exploitive tactics. A perfect example of a noob in ntw is someone who camps with artillery or spams light infantry or kites or breaks rules or hacks or exploits . . . . and the list goes on.

I have personally stopped playing this game and moved on to Starcraft 2 which is definately one of the most competitive games in the world.

The largest SC2 tournament in the world, the GSL, has a grand prise of $87500 USD which is the largest e-sports prise in the world. There are many other sc2 tournaments worldwide.

SC2 is a very good game with constant support from the developers Blizzard unlike CA who dont give a dam as long as we give them our money. Hopefully they will step up their game in Shogun 2. Its really a shame that blizzerd dont buy the TW series. They would make it a much better game with a proper leagues and ladders system, no hacks or exploits and no lag, bugs or glitches.

This would be a world which is only in my dreams at the moment but hopefully one day it would come to life. There needs to be a drastic improvement of multiplayer gameplay to ensure that these cheap exploits that players use in ntw are not posible in STW2.

I could go on forever about noobs, Starcraft 2 and the legalised theives which is CA but I just can't be bothered.

Noobs are a plague .... first they killed my ETW experience, then NTW, and now AOE3 !!! noobs everywhere !!!

I'm sure i've played like a 'noob' and a number of occasions. Even after 130 games i still have battles where i completely screw up. As for rage quitting, it is very annoying. I've never once rage quit, however, i probably look like i have on a number of battles. The online experience is unstable, very unstable at times. I've been dumped at the point of victory and i've crashed out when i'm beat (no doubt the other players thought i rage quit). I think some players flatter themselves that their opponent rage quit. Unless the guy ha been saying stupid things like 'why didn't you bring any art?' or 'you're just lucky' or 'your formations are lame' (to which i responded ' you're the one who's surrounded') then i tend to assume it's the game or the internet connection that's to blame.

We were all noobs once. Sometimes noobs turn into great players if you give em time. Hey guys its clause . Sorry been out for a while, my new job is tearing me apart, 60 hours a week. Around February I gotta head to Atlanta, Georgia for a duration of 6 months for management training. Hopefully, I'll be able to play Napoleon soon. How's the game so far, the community in general? Still going strong? I'm gonna get Shogun 2 for sure, when is that game coming out?

NTW is still fun - but some good players not playing and have moved on to other games but ive seen some new players around who are quite good - probably to be expected after 9 months.

i think everyone is just waiting for shogun 2 - which i think is released early march

i hope that fits your gaming schedule as it would be great to see you playing shogun.
