Roman buildings unavailable
Hi there,
I've got a problem in Aquincum. I'm pretty sure in a previous game I could recruit a legion and auxilia here, but on my new campaign even when a huge city I cannot recruit anything but ansigeni. No roman fortress, curia hostilia etc become available. As there is no weapons metal import,I expected there to be metal available and to be able to build mines instead of importing. The Boii had built salt mines but not metal mines, which I deleted hoping a choice of mines might appear fixing the problem... no luck.
Has anyone found a way round this or a reason for it?

I have the same issue in some cities. I think if you take a city and they have the biggest palace there already then you can't build the citizenship building and then no legions.

now is there a way to delete non deleteable buildings?

A non deletable building cannot be demolished, by it's very definition......

Re: Roman buildings unavailable
So basically, what you're saying is that if another faction upgrades a city to the highest level you may not be able to recruit legions or auxilia there?
This keeps happening occasionally to me in campaigns and it really gets irritating, it's always a city right ont he border too!
