Can I play Rome well on this?

I have a dinosaur of a laptop. It has a dual core 1.6 ghz processor and a geforce go 6150.

My question is: would I be able to play Rome Total War, and mods such as Roma Serrectum and Chivalry 1, or would I be better off simply going with the original Medieval Total War?

Also, and I know this is off topic, but does anyone have any suggestions as to good games (of any genre) that I can play on this thing?

Well, it's not that old, but its specs are terrible. I gave some already, but I'll list them again:

AMD Turion 64 x2 Mobile Technology TL-50 1.6 GHZ processor
NVIDIA Geforce Go 6150 graphics
2 gb of RAM
Using Vista 32 bit, service pack 2

It's from 2007, and it was low quality even then.

That's just it, though: it wasn't even $500 when I got it in early 2007, AND it's a laptop. But I guess I'll try it out. RTW is nice and cheap now.

You should, this one, last time I checked, when I bought it when I was 12 (How I got the money, don't ask.) in 2001 it was only 300$ I believe

You can definatley run it, just keep the unit sizes set to medium or small.

I think it will run decently on all unit sizes, if you aren't afraid to play on low quality.


My old pc was waaaay worse than that. (And I could play on huge, I could even play online)


My current one is about on par with yours, I can play RS II on medium quality.
